It’s always such a treat staying here. Sorry if I drank too much wine!
Thank you for another wonderful stay in your beautiful house - our second year running - and we hope to return next year!. Our extended family continues to enjoy all you have on offer - especially the pool and the table tennis.
The house and the location are wonderful! The area is new to us but we have fallen in love with it. Must return, and when we do, must stay at Last!
Another superb holiday at Last - the place is more splendid and abundant every time I come. The perfumes from the roses and honeysuckle fill the senses!
Last has been a very restful and beautiful retreat. The flowers beautifully planted, the roses with divine fragrance, the trees and land so gentle and welcoming. The house - what stunning attention to detail and beautiful taste. The owners have spared nothing and showered with love their intent for all who stay here will find a welcoming embrace, beauty and peace.
The house is really nice and I loved playing in the pool. We had breakfast, lunch and supper in the summer kitchen. We had fun on the boat in the pool. The fans were a great help because it was so hot. The beds were really comfy.
We’ve had an absolutely lovely week in your beautiful home, and have enjoyed exploring a little of the area. Delighted to find organic fruit and veg almost on the doorstep, and absurdly cheap wine not much further away! We were blessed with good swimming and lounging weather. We’re going to find it hard living without a grand salon!
What a lovely house - beautifully decorated and a very peaceful location with no neighbours to upset! The pool was much used even though the clouds kept us on our toes! We were amazed by the detail of the “batterie de cuisine” and made full use of it! We will, of course, try to stay again and would recommend it to anyone as worth the drive from the UK and Paris.
The house is beautiful. Wonderfully restored and full of antique and modern treasures. The surrounding countryside, sublime, hardly another car in sight, just rolling hills and pastures with varying periods of villages and towns nestling within the Gers perimeter. We were taken out each day on a different historical tour, lunch in a restaurant and we returned to swim in the olympic sized pool and have supper outside.
We have enjoyed local expeditions and equally lazy afternoons by the fire. The sunny days have given us a glimpse of life lazing by the pool. We will start plotting our return before we leave the drive!
Thank you for a wonderful fortnight, our first in your lovely home, but our 18th in the Gers. We so enjoyed being here by the pool that we rarely ventured out beyond supermarket dashes and early “bread club” - though 2 of us enjoyed the wonderful “carte blanche” surprise 6 course meal at our old favourite Le Florida in Castera Verduzan, one long and cloudy lunchtime. Pony rides at Fleurance races led to pony rides at the centre equestre just the other side of St Clar. We hope to be back next year!
Back for the second time for a fabulous week at Last. We swam, barbecued, bouled, ping-ponged and marketed both day and night (Fleurance the best). We lunched in Condom at the unforgettable “Table des Cordeliers” (wow!) and we filled up with Gascon delicacies of every kind and basked in the Gascon sun. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us again, we have absolutely loved it!
A wonderful month in a glorious house in a very special part of France! Superlatives all round ….. Many thanks.
We feel very lucky to have stumbled upon such a beautifully situated and tastefully appointed house. Particular highlights include double dishwashers, local markets, Tour de France, Summer kitchen, sharp knives, armagnac, and that great pool picture on the wall. Many thanks for giving us the opportunity to stay here.
What a fantastic week! The house is beautiful, the figs delicious and the pool fantastic fun! Lots of fantastic trips to local markets (especially loved Fleurance) sampling the local produce (and wine!) and generally enjoying life at Last. Much love and thanks.
Dear Mr and Mrs Littlehales, many thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful house. We have had a terrific holiday enjoying the house, pool and all the wonders of Gascony. We would love to return in the future.
We are sadly leaving after having spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Last. The house is simply stunning, with a beautiful pool, gardens etc. Every comfort has been thought of! We would love to return one day.
hat a beautiful house you have made. The decor is a dream; the beds are comfy; the gardens are a joy and our week has been gorgeous. All the work and love you have put into Last is worth it. A stunning place!
We had such a wonderful week here. We had so much fun and laughter - good food and wine! We both think that you have made Last really very outstanding. A great deal of hard work must have gone into it. What a glorious part of France to have a home. We have had great fun exploring the area and villages. We hope that we will be able to return one day and discover more!
We have all had a wonderful week’s holiday here at Last and very much hope to be back again soon!
What a glorious house - beautiful, comfortable and every convenience. Combined with wonderful weather and good company, we could not ask for more.
Thank you so much for inviting us to Last! We love it so much!
Second visit to Last and another fantastic holiday. Great weather and a great time in a great house. More lovely memories of another great week in Gascony.
Fantastic house in an amazing setting. Lovely 2 weeks with great weather. Sure to return.
You have created a beautiful and tranquil oasis for your guests and your family to enjoy and we are already counting the days till our next visit in June
We have had a fantastic week in this beautiful home. The children loved the pool especially as it was heated! Lots to see and do in the area and some great markets to visit for buying tasty food. The house was really well equipped and everything you could possibly need. We’d love to return.
Chère famille Littlehales, Quelle joie de passer cette semaine en France. Je commence à connaître le Gers de plus en plus. Je me sentais une vraie “Duchesse” dans ma chambre, non pas un vieux sac!
